Designer Daydream is an independent luxury eyewear retailer based in New York City, specializing in authentic designer sunglasses and optical frames at prices well below traditional retail.

Founded in 2014 by Gabrielle, Designer Daydream began with a simple idea: finding the perfect designer piece shouldn't have to mean paying full retail.

Our Story

Hi, I'm Gabrielle, the founder of Designer Daydream.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and fashion has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, weekends often meant searching through discount stores, off-season department stores, thrift shops, eBay, and sale racks looking for those hidden designer finds.

I loved the hunt just as much as the find itself. Over time, I became pretty good at discovering incredible pieces below retail and building a wardrobe that made me feel good without spending a fortune.

Eventually, I thought: why not give other people access to the same kinds of deals I was always searching for?

At 18 years old, I began selling designer eyewear and started building what would eventually become Designer Daydream.

I later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where I was able to immerse myself in the business side of the fashion industry and develop the skills I needed to grow and independently operate my own company.

More than a decade later, Designer Daydream is still built around the same thing I loved from the beginning: finding beautiful designer pieces at prices that make them actually attainable.

What We Do

Designer Daydream specializes in luxury designer eyewear, with a constantly changing selection of sunglasses and optical frames from some of the world's most recognized fashion houses.

Unlike dropshipping retailers, our inventory is physically on hand. The eyewear you see available on our website is stocked by us, allowing us to inspect our merchandise and ship orders quickly.

Our selection changes constantly as styles sell out and new pieces arrive, including current-season designs alongside harder-to-find and discontinued styles from previous collections.

Every item sold by Designer Daydream is 100% authentic, guaranteed.

Our eyewear is sold exactly as it is supplied to us, with the original manufacturer packaging and accessories applicable to that particular model and collection.

Packaging can vary between brands, models and seasons, but may include the original designer case, cleaning cloth, box, booklets and other manufacturer accessories.

We understand that purchasing luxury goods online requires trust, and authenticity has been at the center of Designer Daydream since we began in 2014.
